  • Student can use this time to get settled – find place to live, open bank account, etc.
  • Cannot be more than 30 days before classes start
  • Date orientation or required activities start – example: teaching assistant training
  • Student is in class or working on thesis/ dissertation
  • Enrolled as full time student under F/M regulations
  • Student begins break period
  • Student is in class or working on thesis/ dissertation
  • Enrolled as full time student under F/M regulations
  • Student begins break period
  • Expected date the student will meet all degree requirements
  • Does not include post-completion optional practical training
