Students, once you are accepted to a Student Exchange and Visitor Program-certified school (SEVP) and have obtained your Form, “I-20 Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status,” you will be required to pay an I-901 fee. On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) will upgrade the I-901 fee payment system functionality on FMJFee.com to allow for the transfer of bulk filer payments. Exchange Visitors reapplying for a visa within 12 months of the date of the initial Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) I-901 fee payment or those reapplying for status as an exchange visitor at a U.S. port of entry within 12 months of the date of the initial SEVIS I-901 fee payment may request a fee transfer.
All prospective F and M students are required to pay the I-901 Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Fee before you can receive a visa from the U.S. Department of State to travel to the United States. To pay the I-901 SEVIS Fee, visit FMJFee.com to access the SEVIS Form I-901. FMJFee.com is the only federal website certified to collect I-901 SEVIS Fee payments.

If you plan to use Western Union to pay your fee, the process has changed to allow for immediate receipt of your I-901 payment. There is no change to the payment process when paying the fee by credit or debit card, check or money order.
