The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) wants to provide SEVP schools, students, and stakeholders with important resources for being prepared during an emergency.

  • Ready.gov’s “Planning for Disasters During COVID" Video Series: Disasters don’t wait for a pandemic to end. Learn how to prepare for a natural disaster during COVID-19 with a video series created in partnership with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
  • Ready.gov's National Preparedness Month Page: September is National Preparedness Month. Visit ready.gov/september to find this year’s tips and resources. The 2020 theme is, “Disasters Don’t Wait. Make Your Plan Today.”
  • School Safety Website: Access resources to prevent, mitigate, respond and recover from an emergency on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s School Safety website.
