DSOs: Tune in on June 21 to Learn about SEVP Record Keeping

June 18, 2018

On June 21, 2018, at 2 p.m. EDT, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) invites designated school officials (DSOs) to tune in to the SEVP Ask the Experts Webinar: What DSOs Need to Know about Record Keeping.

During the webinar, SEVP representatives will discuss record keeping and reporting requirements for SEVP-certified schools and international students, including:

  • Form I-17, “Petition for Approval of School for Attendance by Nonimmigrant Student,” and SEVP-certified school record keeping responsibilities.
  • Form I-20, “Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status,” and international student record keeping requirements.
  • How the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System upload evidence functionality and the SEVP Portal affect record keeping and reporting.

The webinar will share resources to help both new and experienced DSOs with school and student record keeping. Additionally, SEVP representatives will answer both pre-submitted and live stakeholder questions during the event.

You are not required to register for the webinar. However, it is recommended that you view the Adobe Connect Quick Start Guide prior to the event to ensure that your webinar setup is correct. Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are recommended browsers for viewing the webinar.
