Check Out the New Guide to Studying in the States

March 7, 2018

In February 2018, Study in the States launched the Guide to Studying in the States for prospective and current international students.

This tool allows you to create a guide that contains information about the steps of the international student process, including:

  • Preparing to enter the United States.
  • Traveling while in the United States.
  • Studying.
  • Student benefits.
  • Change of status.
  • Departing the United States.

To generate your personalized guide, select your student classification (F-1 or M-1) and education level (kindergarten to grade 12, post-secondary or English language training).

Once you have created a guide, you can also print it for future reference.

Visit the Students page and the Tools page on Study in the States to access the new Guide to Studying in the States. You can also find more information about the international student process by visiting the International Student Life Cycle resource page on Study in the States.
