In the latest edition of SEVP Spotlight, Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Director Rachel Canty discusses new SEVP tools and how they help improve understanding of federal regulations and enhance student compliance.

These tools include training modules for Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) users and the SEVP Portal for international students participating in practical training opportunities. The SEVP Portal, which launched on March 23, is an effort to help reduce the reporting burden on some designated school officials by allowing students to be directly responsible for the accuracy of their SEVIS records.

This edition of SEVP Spotlight, SEVP’s quarterly newsletter for the academic community, also features:
