Check Out the Newest Resources on the SEVIS Help Hub
During the past few months, Study in the States has added several new pages and resources for designated school officials (DSOs) to the SEVIS Help Hub.
The SEVIS Help Hub is the central location for DSOs to find information about the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), including reporting requirements and resources related to SEVIS enhancements and webinars. It includes step-by-step instructions and detailed user guides for many of the processes that DSOs must complete in SEVIS.
Some of the topics covered by the latest SEVIS Help Hub pages and resources include:
- Curricular practical training.
- Shortening or extending a student’s program.
- Viewing a school’s event history in SEVIS.
- Transfer out of M-1 students.
- Creating and accessing student and DSO reports.
- Creating and maintaining the Form I-17, “Certificate for Approval of School for Attendance by Nonimmigrant Student.”
In addition to these new resources, Study in the States has also updated many SEVIS Help Hub pages to include more detailed, accurate information on creating and maintaining both school and student records.
