
SEVP Answers: What Do You Need to Know Before You Go to the United States?
Join the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, at 11 a.m. EST for an online presentation at the International Students Day Virtual College Fair. During the presentation, an SEVP representative will:
- Provide you with an overview of SEVP.
- Discuss how you can find the SEVP-certified school that is right for you and explain what happens once you are accepted.
- Discuss the role of a designated school official, and how he or she can help you while you study in the United States.
- Review the important documents you will receive and the fees you need to pay before studying in the United States.
- Provide you with tips on how to prepare to enter the United States and how to properly maintain your student status while here.
This free online fair is sponsored by EducationUSA. Presenters include representatives from U.S. colleges and universities, government officials and experts on the international student process.
