Follow Friday: Continue the IEW Conversation with ECA on Social Media
As International Education Week comes to a close, we encourage students and school officials to follow the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) on social media. ECA has active Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts where it shares engaging information about international exchange programs and participants.
ECA’s mission is to, “increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries by means of educational and cultural exchange that assists in the development of peaceful relations.” To achieve its mission, ECA manages a host of professional, academic, cultural and athletic exchanges.
Are you an international student interested in learning more about ECA programs? Visit ESA’s website for non-U.S. citizens. There you will find exchange programs, read about exchange experiences, learn how to plan for your trip, and discover resources for your parents and family.
