Follow Friday: Connect with NAFSA on Social Media

November 6, 2015

NAFSA: Association of International Educators is the world’s largest nonprofit professional association dedicated to international education. NAFSA members include school administrators, advisors, instructors, students, advocates, volunteers and all those committed to the growth of international education. Its members work with U.S. federal agencies to advance public policies promoting international education.

If you are a designated school official (DSO) at a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)‑certified school, follow NAFSA on social media to stay up-to-date on important trends and issues facing the international education community. NAFSA’s Twitter and Facebook pages provide organization-wide program updates. In addition, some of the individual NAFSA regions also have dedicated social media accounts to directly communicate with their local members and academic professionals. Visit your region’s webpage to learn more and connect with them on social media.

Each year, NAFSA hosts 11 regional conferences as well as an annual conference and expo for its members. This year, SEVP will participate in many of these events to help answer your questions about SEVP-certification responsibilities and provide important program updates.

Want more ways to connect and engage with NAFSA? You can also follow the NAFSA blog or join a NAFSA-led conversation that is relevant to your job as a DSO.
