Connect with SEVP at NAFSA’s Annual Conference
May 22, 2015
On Sunday, May 24, 2015, NAFSA: Association of International Educators kicks off its Annual Conference and Expo in Boston. This year, the conference explores the theme of New Horizons in International Education and the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) will be there to join the conversation!
On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, SEVP Director Lou Farrell will participate in a listening session with NAFSA stakeholders regarding current trends and issues within the international student process. On Thursday, May 28, 2015, SEVP will present in two panel sessions for conference attendees. One session will cover relevant updates from SEVP field representatives and the second session will discuss news about the ongoing enhancements to the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System.
SEVP will also participate in a final panel discussion on Friday, May 29, 2015, which will cover immigration updates for Intensive English Programs. In addition to updates, the panel will respond to pre-submitted questions on topics solicited from the audience including Form I-20 issuance, bridge programs, draft guidance, immigration reform and visa issuance. If time allows, the panel will also field questions from those attending the session.
