Watch Now: A SEVIS Update for the Academic Community

October 30, 2014

In the second installment of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Way Ahead video series, Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Director Lou Farrell, provides the academic community with an update on SEVIS enhancements. Over the past year, SEVIS has undergone several enhancements to provide better capabilities for system users, as well as serve SEVP’s mission to protect national security.

SEVP is dedicated to keeping the academic community up-to-date on SEVIS enhancements. The SEVIS Way Ahead video series is just one way we keep stakeholders informed. SEVP will continue to host SEVIS-related webinars, in which participants can learn about updated system functionality, walk through new features and have questions answered directly.

The academic community plays a critical role in maintaining accurate SEVIS data. It is the primary responsibility of designated school officials to keep school information and student records current in SEVIS.

Watch the new video, SEVIS Way Ahead: A Message to the Academic Community, today.
