Tune in Friday, March 7: SEVIS Batch Webinar

March 6, 2014

If you use batch software to manage your Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) reporting responsibilities, tune in tomorrow, Friday, March 7, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET for a webinar with the Student and Exchange Visitor Program and the Department of State’s Exchange Visitor Program. The webinar is an interactive discussion on how planned SEVIS enhancements will affect schools and sponsors who use this software.

The webinar will cover changes in SEVIS, including:

  • Implementation of a SEVIS naming standard, which affects the names of nonimmigrants uploaded via batch
  • Changes in the collection of U.S. addresses
  • Validation of U.S. addresses

To participate, use the Study in the States Stakeholder Webinars page. The webinar will open 15 minutes before the scheduled webinar start time, at 12:45 p.m. ET. The session is limited to 1,000 people, so we encourage people from the same organization to participate from one location. If you are unable to attend, check back to the webinars page for a recording.
