SEVIS Annual Verification Now Open
The Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) verification period runs from Dec. 2, 2017 to March 2, 2018.
During this time, every principal designated school officials (PDSO) must verify that all system users associated with their school:
- Are employed by the school as a PDSO or designated school official (DSO).
- Continue to require access to SEVIS.
Failure to comply by March 2 will result in all unverified DSOs losing SEVIS access on March 3. The SEVIS Help Hub’s PDSO/DSO Annual Verification User Guide and Demonstration: Annual Verification provide detailed instructions on how to fulfill this requirement.
As a note, this year’s annual verification period overlaps with the transition period for the new upload functionality in SEVIS. PDSOs can learn more about this critical change by visiting ICE.gov and the SEVIS Help Hub.
