Students: Visit the Redesigned Tools Page on Study in the States

October 16, 2017

Study in the States recently launched a redesigned Tools page that features a new, easy to navigate format with an updated look and feel.

In addition, each tool listed now includes a preview description where you can learn more about how they can be used.

The Tools page has several resources that can help you learn more about the international student process, whether you are a prospective or current international student. If you are a prospective international student, use the Tools page to access the School Search tool and find a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-certified school.

Also on the Tools page, you can find the Study Guide to the States, a useful resource that explains the international student life cycle from when you start searching for a school to when you complete your program of study.

Visit the Tools page to find more resources to help you understand the international student process and maintain your student status as you study in the United States.

Study in the States also introduced a new widget that links directly to information specifically for international students. The widget is a tool that SEVP-certified schools and other organizations can add to their websites to easily direct their site visitors to Study in the States resources and information. You may begin to see the widget on the website of an SEVP-certified school or a U.S. government agency that plays a role in the international student process. As a reminder, the School Search tool is the only way to find out if a school is SEVP-certified or not.

Share your thoughts about the redesigned Tools page and new widget with us on Twitter using the hashtag #StudyintheStates.
