Temporary FMJFee.com Outage Scheduled for June 14
On June 14, 2017, at 10 a.m. EDT, FMJFee.com will be temporarily unavailable as the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) deploys new feature enhancements to the website. SEVP anticipates the outage will last between one to two hours.
During this outage, prospective F, M and J visa holders will be unable to pay their I-901 SEVIS Fee or print receipts. However, the website will be fully functional once the outage is over. Please follow Study in the States on social media for updates about the FMJFee.com outage.
The deployment will update FMJFee.com with a new capability that allows international students to request a transfer of their I-901 SEVIS Fee from one SEVIS ID number to another directly from the website. A transfer request typically occurs if a student in Initial status in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) has not yet attended school and decides to transfer to another SEVP-certified school or program. If accepted, the transfer would allow the student to move the I-901 SEVIS Fee from one SEVIS ID to another. Currently, students may only send a transfer request via email or postal service.
