The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) invites designated school officials (DSOs) to submit their questions about Form I-17, “Petition for Approval of School for Attendance by Nonimmigrant Student,” updates to SEVPOutreach@ice.dhs.gov by June 26, 2017. 

SEVP presenters will answer pre-submitted stakeholder questions during the SEVP Ask the Experts Webinar: Behind the Scenes of Form I-17 Updates on July 27, 2017, from 2 to 3 p.m. EDT. During the webinar, SEVP representatives will take an in-depth look at the process for updates to the Form I-17.

This webinar is designed for DSOs and those with an interest in the update process. Registration is not required, but viewership is limited to the first 1,000 participants.

Please note that SEVP representatives will not answer questions that are case specific or about specific petition update times during this webinar. Please direct all case-specific questions to the SEVP Response Center.
