SEVP to Highlight Pathway Programs in Webinar on Dec. 14, 2016

December 6, 2016

Join the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) for the SEVP InFocus Webinar on Dec. 14, 2016, from 2 to 3 p.m. EST.

This webinar will feature a special segment on final policy guidance released in October 2016 on pathway programs. This guidance provides information regarding pathway programs for F-1 postsecondary students who fail to meet the English proficiency requirements for admission into a certified degree program of study, or need to improve English competencies for that program.

SEVP representatives will answer pre-submitted questions from stakeholders about this guidance during the webinar.

The webinar will also discuss:

  • Upcoming policy guidance documents.
  • Planned Student and Exchange Visitor Information System enhancements.
  • Tips and reminders for designated school officials.
  • New resources on Study in the States.

You are not required to register for this webinar. However, please note that webinar viewership is limited to the first 1,000 participants. A recording of the webinar, transcript, copy of the presentation and answers to pre-submitted questions will be available following the event.
