FMJFee.com Outage Planned for Nov. 16
At 8 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, FMJFee.com will be temporarily unavailable as the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) deploys upgrades to the website. SEVP anticipates the outage will last between two to four hours.
During this outage, prospective F, M and J visa holders will be unable to pay their I-901 SEVIS Fee or print receipts. However, the website will be fully functional once the outage is over.
The website upgrades SEVP will deploy during this outage include a responsive design that allows users full access to the site from their mobile devices. With simplified content and more intuitive navigation, the upgraded FMJFee.com will make it easier for users to pay and monitor the status of their I-901 SEVIS Fee.
In coordination with the website upgrades, Study in the States will also update its I-901 SEVIS Fee tutorial to reflect the site’s new navigation and design.
As a reminder, FMJFee.com is the website prospective F, M, and J nonimmigrant visa holders use to pay their I-901 SEVIS Fee. All international students and exchange visitors must pay their I-901 SEVIS Fee prior to receiving their visa from the U.S. Department of State.
