
Two SEVIS Webinars Scheduled for Sept. 16
On Sept. 16, 2016, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program will host two Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) webinars for school officials.
The SEVIS F/M Correction Request Webinar will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. EDT and explain specific functionalities planned for SEVIS Release 6.29, including:
- A new SEVIS Corrections Management page that centralizes information about student or a school’s open or closed corrections.
- A list for viewing and managing pending correction requests per campus.
- Improved event history about a correction request.
The SEVIS F/M Correction Request Webinar is designed for SEVIS users who manage F and M student records and does not apply to J record management.
The second webinar slated for Sept. 16 is the SEVIS 6.29 Pre-Release Webinar, which will take place from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. EDT. This webinar will discuss other functionalities to expect from the Sept. 30 deployment and is relevant for all SEVIS users.
