Watch the SEVP InFocus Webinar on Nov. 10
School officials can visit Study in the States on Nov. 10, 2015 from 1 to 2 p.m. EST to watch the live broadcast of the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)’s first InFocus webinar. This webinar is free and open to the public.
Especially for those unable to attend a conference or event this autumn where SEVP presents, this webinar will provide the latest program news and updates directly from SEVP to the academic community and will cover important topics like:
- Upcoming draft and interim final policy guidance.
- The upcoming Form I-20, “Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status,” conversion deadline.
- Planned enhancements to the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System.
- Form I-17, “Petition for Approval of School for Attendance by Nonimmigrant Student,” updates and recertification processing times.
- Field representative deployment updates.
- New resources available on Study in the States.
You can access the webinar on the Study in the States Stakeholder Webinar page, which will launch you to the Adobe Connect platform that hosts the webinar — we encourage stakeholders to read the Adobe Connect QuickStart Guide, prior to the webinar to ensure your computer has the correct technical set up to view the webinar.
A recording of the webinar, as well as a transcript, will be available following the event.
If you do not have time to watch the webinar, we encourage you to visit the Study in the States Publication page to download the Executive Summary and read the presentation highlights.
