EducationUSA Provides Resources to Help U.S. Colleges and Universities Recruit International Students

October 8, 2015

If you want to enroll more international students at your Student and Exchange Visitor Program-certified U.S. college or university, be sure to check out the EducationUSA network’s resources and programming that support international student recruitment efforts.  EducationUSA works with regionally and/or nationally accredited U.S. colleges or universities.

EducationUSA, a U.S. Department of State network of more than 400 international student advising centers in over 170 countries, promotes U.S. higher education abroad and provides U.S. postsecondary institutions with the tools and resources needed to meet international student recruitment and campus internationalization goals.

EducationUSA’s website includes a section specifically for U.S. higher education professionals that offers a wealth of information on many topics including how to engage international student audiences, make the case for internationalization in your community, and navigate national scholarship programs and educational systems abroad.

To explore all of the ways the EducationUSA network can support your institution, we encourage you to request a free login for the website and/or contact EducationUSA@state.gov. Help us spread the word about EducationUSA’s international student recruitment resources by sharing this post with your colleagues on social media using the hashtags #StudyintheStates and #EducationUSA.
