On Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) will host a webinar for Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) users, titled “SEVIS Webinar: Optional Practical Training (OPT).” The webinar will stream from 2‑3:30 p.m. EDT and pre-registration is required.

During the webinar, SEVP will discuss system changes included in the upcoming SEVIS Release 6.24, specifically changes to OPT authorizations and SEVIS reporting of OPT employer information.

Agenda topics for the Oct. 2 webinar include:

• OPT recommendations.
• Reporting employer information.
• Science, technology, engineering and mathematics authorizations and reporting in SEVIS.
• Reporting student telephone and email information.

This webinar is relevant for all SEVIS users that work with F and M students. In addition to the topics above, there will also be time to have your SEVIS questions answered by our presenters.
