Designated school officials (DSO) are invited to join the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) for a free webinar hosted by NAFSA: Association of International Educators on Aug.12 at 3 p.m. ETD. The webinar topics include:

• The SEVP recertification process, and
• Form I-17, “Petition for Approval of School Attendance by Nonimmigrant Student” updates. 

To participate in the webinar, you must use the SmartMeeting link and dial-in information provided on the NAFSA website. 

This webinar is part of NAFSA’s Government Connection event series and will feature representatives from SEVP who will discuss the above topics and specifically provide information about processing times and tips for completing your recertification package. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to have your pre-submitted questions answered. Visit the NAFSA website for details, including how to submit questions before the event.
