Study in the States Widget

Add the New Study in the States Widget to Your Website

August 5, 2015

We recently added new tools to Study in the States that help people share information and better understand the international student process.

One of these new tools is the Study in the States widget that you can add to your website. Including our widget on your website allows your visitors direct access to Study in the States, which is the Department of Homeland Security-sponsored resource hub for information about the international student process.

A widget is a small Web application that you can embed on your website or blog. Once embedded to the desired location on your site, your visitors can click the Study in the States graphic, which leads them to the Study in the States home page.

Providing a direct link to Study in the States gives visitors to your website, such as international students, a clear path to official, government information about the rules they must follow in order to remain in compliance. Directions on how to add the widget to your site can be found on the Study in the States widget page.

Be sure to visit our Tools page to see other free resources Study in the States offers, including the recently released SEVP School Certification Life Cycle and our new social media feed. Share your favorite Study in the States’ tool using #StudyintheStates.
