SEVP Launches Second Class of Field Representatives
November 19, 2014
The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) is excited to announce its second class of field representatives deployed this week. Field representatives serve as direct day to day liaisons between SEVP and certified schools. They help school officials understand SEVP rules and regulations, as well as the international student process. The field representatives also help enhance national security by fostering regulatory adherence and Student and Exchange Visitor Information System data integrity.
This second group of 14 representatives is part of the 60 total field representatives SEVP plans to deploy nationwide. You can find additional information about the SEVP field representatives and how they can help you on this Study in the States resource page.
Field representatives are intended to communicate directly with school officials. Students who have questions about SEVP should ask their designated school official or contact the SEVP Response Center.
