Celebrating Education in November

November 4, 2014
This month, the United States celebrates International Education Week from Nov. 17–21 with events, webinars and conferences. International Education Week is a joint initiative between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote programs that prepare students for a global environment and help attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and share experiences in the United States.

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) encourages F and M students to join the celebration. With this year’s International Education Week approaching, SEVP will continue to share useful information about this exciting week, and we want to hear how you and your school plan to participate.

Take a minute to check out the events happening in your area with the Department of State's International Education Week 2014 event search page, or learn more about the events with the additional resources available on the website.

Do you plan to celebrate education during November? Please share with us your ideas on how to commemorate quality education on Facebook or Twitter
