
SEVP Seeks Stakeholder Feedback on Draft Guidance

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) is seeking public comment on draft policy guidance on pathway programs. SEVP values feedback from the public and seeks their input to ensure SEVP policies consider all relevant information.
Pathway Programs
The pathway programs draft policy guidance is the third in a series of related guidance documents. The pathway programs document addresses postsecondary programs of study combining nonremedial and remedial coursework to prepare a student who is unable to meet the requirements of admission into a degree program. The purpose of this draft guidance is to clarify SEVP regulations and ensure uniformity of interpretation.
How to Comment on Draft Guidance
SEVP is issuing this draft policy guidance for adjudicators to provide stakeholders with the opportunity to comment on these policies. Visit SEVP Guidance for Comment to download the draft guidance. To comment on the guidance, email SEVPFeedback@ice.dhs.gov with the subject line “Pathway Programs.” SEVP will accept public feedback on these issues until Monday, Nov. 10, 2014.
