Join SEVP for a “Study in the USA” Live Event
Do you have questions about what to expect when preparing to study in the United States? Come join the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the U.S. Department of State event, “Study in the USA.” Study in the USA is an interactive event about arriving in the United States to study.
On Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. EDT, the event will provide pre-departure advice for international students — the fifth and final step of EducationUSA’s, “5 Steps to U.S. Study.”
During the event, you will learn valuable information. You will be able to participate in an interactive question and answer session with presenters through social media and live chat. Some questions you might want to ask include:
- What documents do I need to bring with me?
- What can I expect when arriving in the United States?
- How can I maintain my status while studying in the United States?
EducationUSA is hosting the live streaming event on their website. To participate in the event’s Twitter discussion, follow @StudyinStates, @CustomsBorder, and @EdUSAupdates, or hashtag #StudyintheUSA. You can learn more about the event on the U.S. Department of State’s website.
