Tools for Choosing a School

October 10, 2013

Researching programs in a different country can sometimes be complicated, but there are many resources available for prospective students. For example, Forbes reports that one former student and his friends launched GradTrain, a “community for ambitious young people who wish to get into U.S. graduate programs from overseas… (that) provides data-driven tools to help candidates make better decisions throughout the application process.”

When researching schools, it is important to remember that you can find free information from government resources such as Study in the States. If you have questions, contact the designated school official at the school you want to attend. You can also visit your local EducationUSA advising center or visit their website to learn more about selecting a course of study in the United States.
