Today: Department of Education Webinar

September 25, 2013

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Healthy Students and its Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools (REMS) Technical Assistance (TA) Center, along with its federal partners, is hosting a webinar to provide an in-depth review of the “A Closer Look” section of the Obama Administration’s Guide for Developing High-Quality Emergency Operations Plans for Institutions of Higher Education.

The webinar, "Incorporating International Students into Institution of Higher Education Emergency Management and Planning", will inform institutions of higher education (IHEs) as they seek to incorporate the unique needs of international students into their emergency operations plan. The presentation will assist IHEs in considering specific actions to aid in the appropriate and timely handling of international student issues during and prior to an emergency.
