Final Policy Guidance on Instructional Sites

March 21, 2013

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) asked for public comment on draft policy guidance for adjudicators on instructional sites. The purpose of this guidance is to provide a streamlined and clear definition of what constitutes an instructional site and what instructional sites school officials should report to SEVP.

We are providing this guidance to provide transparency into how our adjudicators make decisions about instructional sites. You can read the final guidance on our SEVP Guidance for Comment page.

We periodically post draft policy guidance for public comment on the SEVP Guidance for Comment page. You can use that page to sign up for e-mail alerts when we post new draft guidance.
