In honor of the 13^th annual International Education Week (IEW), U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano filmed a video message. Secretary Napolitano highlights the steps the Department of Homeland Security has taken over the past year in this area, including the launch of  Study in the States. IEW is a joint annual initiative of the Department of State and the Department of Education, and aims to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and participate in exchange experiences in the United States.
