2011 Open Doors Report Released
The Institute of International Education released their 2011 Open Doors report today. The report shows that international student enrollment in the United States increased by 5 percent in the 2010/11 school year, led by a strong increase in students from China. Open Doors is a “comprehensive information resource on international students and scholars studying or teaching at higher education institutions in the United States, and U.S. students studying abroad for academic credit at their home colleges or universities.”
