100Kin10: A Nonprofit Focused on Improving STEM Education in the United States

The United States is serious about improving the quality of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education in schools across the country. 100Kin10A new nonprofit, is dedicated to doing just that.

100Kin10 is a collaborative movement joining 80 organizations around the United States to support the national imperative of preparing, deploying and supporting 100,000 new, best-in-class STEM teachers over the next 10 years. This nonprofit has already secured $20 million in funding through support from President Obama, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, NASA, Google, DOW Chemical, and Stanford, among many others.
