Questions from DSOs: How to Navigate the SEVIS Help Hub
The Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) is a web-based system that maintains information about F-1 and M-1 students, their F-2 and M-2 dependents, Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-certified schools and principal and designated school officials (P/DSOs). SEVP supports and manages the SEVIS database.
The SEVIS Help Hub is the central location for information about using SEVIS to maintain school and student records.
On the help hub you can find step-by-step guides, tutorials and articles on:
- SEVIS Basics
- Creating and maintaining School Records
- Creating and maintaining Student Records
- Job Aids
- Frequently asked questions
- Demonstrations and other tools
You can use the SEVIS Help Hub site map to see and find all of the Help Hub topics. Check the SEVIS Help Hub frequently -- new content is added and updated regularly.
