What is Meet America?

Meet America is an opportunity for international students to participate in targeted career development activities while school is not in session. The program helps you make important connections and prepare for the global job market.

This year, Global Ties U.S. collaborated with Seattle Colleges to offer international students the Meet America program in Seattle that has a special focus on entrepreneurship.

During Meet America Seattle, international students will participate in workshops focused on topics such as leadership, networking and business plan development. Students will also attend professional meetings with organizations and companies.

Who can apply?

International students currently enrolled full time at a U.S. college or university may apply. All majors and levels of study are welcome. There is an English language proficiency requirement. Please visit the program’s Web page for more information about eligibility requirements.

How do I apply?

If you are interested in applying for Meet America Seattle, you must complete and submit the online application by Feb. 12.
