SEVP Launches Final Class of Field Representatives

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) is excited to announce the deployment of the fourth and final class of field representatives.

SEVP field representatives serve as direct day‑to‑day liaisons between SEVP and SEVP-certified schools, and help school officials understand SEVP rules and regulations, as well as the international student process. SEVP field representatives also help enhance national security by fostering an understanding of regulatory adherence, and Student and Exchange Visitor Information System data integrity.

This fourth group of 16 representatives is part of the 58 total field representatives SEVP deployed nationwide. There are currently two remaining vacancies in San Jose, CA and Kansas City, MO.  Once filled, SEVP will have 60 field representatives deployed.

SEVP will continue to communicate with the academic community about filling these two vacancies, as well as any general updates or news about the field representatives.
