Contact Us

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) is dedicated to open communications with students and school officials to provide support while studying in the United States. See SEVP’s multiple contact options below for more information.

For general SEVP questions, case-specific questions and SEVIS technical help, contact the SEVP Response Center. Our goal is to answer your questions during your initial call. Please be advised that if your question or issue requires research, we will respond as quickly as possible.

Form I-17, “Petition for Approval of School for Attendance by Nonimmigrant Student”

Homeland Security Investigations Tip Line

Individuals across the world can report suspicious criminal activity to the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Tip Line 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call 1-877-4-HSI-TIP or fill out the HSI Tip Form online if you would like to report suspicious activity. Visit the HSI Tip Line website for more information about the types of crimes you should report.
