Submit Your Questions About Arriving at a U.S. Port of Entry by April 20

April 12, 2018

The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) invites international students and designated school officials to submit questions about what to expect at a U.S. port of entry to SEVPOutreach@ice.dhs.gov by April 20, 2018.

Representatives from SEVP and U.S. Customs and Border Protection will answer these pre‑submitted questions during the Government Voices Webinar: What to Expect at a U.S. Port of Entry on May 16, 2018, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. EDT.

The webinar will take an in-depth look at the U.S. port of entry processes nonimmigrant students encounter throughout the student life cycle. Presenters will discuss several topics related to student entry to the United States, including:

  • Primary versus secondary inspection.
  • Documentation.
  • How entry processes may differ at land, air and sea ports of entry.

Please note that presenters will not answer case-specific questions during the webinar.
